Khomych I. The development of archives in Ukraine in the second half of 1950 - 2012: historiography

The present thesis is dedicated to the analysis of the historiography of the development of Archival Science in Ukraine during the second half of the 1950s - 2012 period. Basing on the wide range of historiographical materials, the genesis, tendencies and laws of scientific knowledge aggregation are investigated, key concepts of archival science studies in Ukraine are defined, main groups of historiographical theme sources are observed and classified, historiographical periods in studies of history and development of Archival Science in Ukraine from the second half of the 1950s up to 2012 are specified and characterized. Investigation of staff policy in the archival sphere is analyzed, peculiarities of historiography of scientific research and publishing activities of archival institutions are revealed.
