Luzan O. Grounding of the parameters of covering organs for direct sowing of cereal crops

Object of research is the process of removing crop residues out of the sector of coulter shaft with sharp angle while penetrating the soil. The objective of the work is to provide capability and to increase efficiency of the functioning of covering working organs with sharp angle while penetrating the soil of the seed-drills for direct sowing of crops. Theoretical researches are done with the use of elements of theoretical mechanics, differential and integral calculation and mathematical modeling. The results of experimental researches are processed with the use of elements of probability and mathematical statistics theory. The work presents the simulator of the process of interaction of different stem residues, geometric and technological parameters with the surface of stem remover and the conditions of stem residues flow off its surface. The regularity of the influence of constructive parameters of stem remover and its alternate position with other constructive elements of the coulter on the efficiency of the process of removing stem residues was stated and practically tested. The elements of coulter design and technical provision of the research are protected by the patent of Ukraine for invention and by the three patents of Ukraine for an effective model.
