The thesis is devoted to the substantiation of theoretical and methodological bases and practical recommendations for the design of state regulation of the agricultural sector as guaranteeing food security of Ukraine. Specifies the principles of a new model of government regulation of food safety. Reviewed current status and trends in the agricultural sector and the system of state regulation of the agricultural sector in an unstable financial and economic environment in Ukraine.
