Essay

This Dissertation presents the results of treatment for refractive and strabismic amblyopia with defections of a binocular vision. A newly developed method of alternating stimulating corresponding fields in retinas by structured "dazzling" fields, conducted an analysis comparing its performance with the traditional method and the integrated LED alternately stimulating the eye. The results of treatment of 109 patients with various methods. Of these, 19 patients with refractive and 30 with strabismic amblyopia were treated with the new method, 31 patients with strabismic amblyopia were treated with traditional complex method and 29 patients with strabismic amblyopia were treated with alternating LED stimulation in retinas. It is shown that the pleoptik effect of the new method does not yield to complex method and confirmed by the increase in visual acuity pair (worse) eye to 0.17 ± 0.09 in the treatment of a new method and to 0.13 ± 0.08 in the treatment of a complex method. Comparative analysis of the effectiveness of the new method in the treatment of patients with strabismic amblyopia, a complex method and the method of alternating LED eye stimulation showed higher orthoptic effect after new method of treatment, resulting restoration of binocular vision in 50% of cases, whereas in the treatment of patients with stabismic amblyopia with complex method, this figure has been observed only in 38.7% cases, and by alternating LED stimulation only 21% cases. Thus, a new method for treating strabismic amblyopia allows you to combine pleoptik and orthoptic effect in a medical procedure.
