The object is the "K?nstlerroman" by German-speaking authors in the anti-fascist exile ("A Man Called Cervantes" by B. Frank, "The Death of Virgil" by H. Broch, "It is the Hour" by L. Feuchtwanger). The aim: elicitation of poetological peculiarities in the literary systems of the novels "A Man Called Cervantes" by B. Frank, "The Death of Virgil" by H. Broch, "It is the Hour" by L. Feuchtwanger in mind the general conceptual dominant of the "K?nstlerroman" by German-speaking authors in the anti-fascist exile. Methods: historico-literary, hermeneutic methods, analysis of literary work as an entirety, "clothe-reading", elements of biographical method, historicist criticism and post-structuralist approach. The subject of the present research is the poetics of the "K?nstlerroman" by German-speaking authors in the anti-fascist exile embracing both, the "first" (H. Broch) and "second" (B. Frank, L. Feuchtwanger), ranks of literature. The work reveals the elements of poetological systems that unite the novels "A Man Called Cervantes" by B. Frank, "The Death of Virgil" by H. Broch and "It is the Hour" by L. Feuchtwanger with the tradition of this genre. The poetological realization of the theme of creativity and the image of the artist in the novels is examined: poetics of chronotopos and conflict "artist-authority", literary demythologization of authority, intertextuality and intermediality in the artist-novel by German-speaking authors.
