Savitchev A. Party Leaders of Ukraine (1945 - 1964): the Historiography of the Problem

On the basis of the analysis of historiographical and historical sources, the degree of studying the problem of the development and activity of Party Leaders in Soviet Ukraine during the Late Stalinism and Khrushchev's Period in the Histiriography of the Latter Half of the 20th - the Early 21st centuries have been found out. The degree of studying the problem by the researchers of different generations has been shown, the Source basis has been classified and the research methods have been determined. Attention is paid to the factual context of the materials, key-note and historiographical situation. In the process of accumulation and development of history knowledge on the problem it has been proposed to determine 4 periods, each of which is associated with the dynamic of Ukraine problems study. The perspective lines for future research have been offered.
