This thesis provides comprehensive scientific investigation of problems concerning the legal regulation of revenue from transactions in securities. An analysis of financial and legal regulations of the securities market in Ukraine was made. Singled out complex relations arising in the securities market which are regulated under financial law. Financial and tax regulations of securities in Ukraine was studied. The system of securities taxation was defined. The regulation of placement, circulation and redemption of government and municipal securities was analyzed. The sources of revenue from transactions with securities were established. Suggestions to the Ukrainian legislation to improve the regulation of securities taxation and stock market regulation were made as a result of the research.
