Essay

This thesis deals with the conceptual principles and characteristic features of building and functioning of the US public school education management mechanisms in terms of their adaptation for Ukraine. The relevant organizational mechanisms are revealed, the modern priorities of the US school education development are ascertained and the two-level system of the strategic school education planning is determined in the thesis. The content of master's degree programs aimed at managerial training of the staff working in the US school education is exposed in the same. The approaches, conceptual principles and practical guidelines with respect to improving the political and organizational mechanisms of the state general secondary education management in Ukraine and developing the state and public management in this sphere are proposed on the basis of the US experience. In addition, there are the directions for the development of the special managerial training of the staff working in the native school education.
