The thesis is devoted to actual problems of theoretical, methodological and applied aspects of machine building enterprises' innovation potential and developing recommendations for the formation mechanism of innovation potential based on studies of innovation financing engineering enterprise by using maximum Pontryagin's principle and the Newton's method, which formed the basis for the proposed economic and mathematical model of optimal control resource allocation in the implementation of innovation that allows to determine the best plan of investing in innovative activities for a certain period of time.
