In the thesis the issues of mineral nutrition ewes Dnepropetrovsk type Askanian meat-wool breed in the past 7-8 weeks pregnancy in the steppe zone of the Dnieper. In physiological investigations Askanian ewes experiments established that the addition of 20 % sulfur and 10 % of cobalt improves the digestibility coefficients organic matter intake, crude protein, crude fiber, improve the metabolizm of nitrogen and mineral elements. Increased average daily liveweight gain of lambs during the period inflow. Noted the positive impact for increasing the concentration of sulfur in wool fibers to 3,58 % and to improve quality and quantitative amino acid composition of wool: increased levels cystine and cysteine.
