The thesis is devoted to the analysis of theoretical and practical issues of conservation and use of marine continental shelf of Ukraine. The term of marine continental shelf is defined as a complex object of administrative legal regulation. The distinction of administrative and other legal relations has been provided, which arise in questions of marine continental shelf protection and use. The legal framework of marine continental shelf protection and use, as well as the role of administrative legal regulation in it have been clarified. The system of marine continental shelf protection and use subjects have been described.
