The dissertation is devoted to the analysis of administrative and legal status of the State Service of Ukraine for Drugs. The concept and structure of administrative and legal status of the State Service of Ukraine for Drugs, its place in the system of central bodies of executive power, competence and authority, especially regarding opposition of law violation in the sphere of drugs trade, forms and methods of its administrative activities, ways for improvement of the administrative and legal status of the State Service of Ukraine for Drugs, including considering the international experience of organizational and legal state control over the quality of drugs have been defined.
