The thesis is devoted to improving the outcomes of patients with toxic goiter forms with irritable bowel syndrome by determining the genetic determination of serotonin levels in blood plasma, study the role of autonomic nervous imbalance, peroxidation processes, antioxidant defense, proteolysis, fibrinolysis, morphological and functional properties of erythrocytes in the appearance of functional bowel disorders. Methods of prediction and diagnosis of functional bowel disorders have been defined. The complex treatment of patients using meteospasmyl and carvedilol have been proposed, effects on correcting these processes have been proved, it makes possible to improve significantly the outcomes and the quality of life of patients.
