Logvinenko V. Radiation Diagnostics of the Injuries of Humeral Joint and Their Results

The purpose of the dissertation is the improvement of diagnostics of affections of structures of a humeral joint and its surrounding soft fabrics by means of improvement of the existing ultrasonographical, magnetic resonance technique of researches and algorithms of examinations. The data of radiological examinations of 156 patients with affections of a humeral joint is analised. On the basis of comparison of the results of radiological researches and surgical interventions it is proved that magnetic resonance imaging and ultrasonography give the best results in diagnostics of ruptures of a rotator cuff of a shoulder and vertical instability of a humeral joint; magnetic resonance imaging in horisontal and combined instability of a humeral joint; complex radiological research – an impingement syndrome. The use of an advanced technique of a direct magnetic resonance imaging of a humeral joint allows to avoid radiological loading on the patient and injection of contrast substance with iodine in a joint cavity. The use of an advanced technique of ultrasonography allows to use the given method for diagnostics of instability of a humeral joint. The developed algorithm of radiological research of affections of a humeral joint allows to reduce radiological loading on the patient and to lower the examination cost.
