Essay

This study examines one of the most significant cultural events of Russian history , which emerged on the basis of European ball practice, which eventually aquired national property and found a variety of coverage in the musical arts. It is proved that a particular model of ball ceremony ("Russian Ball") existed in Russia, which led to the specific musical design and artistic embodiment in the music of the XIX century.
