The thesis focuses on the problem of improving the quality of primary tillage and reducing energy consumption by means of designing a vibration plough with hydraulic vibrators. A mathematical model of the process of interaction between the working bodies of the vibration plough and the farming land has been made. The analysis of the model made it possible to determine the magnitude of resistance to the movement of the arable unit. Theoretical and experimental research substantiates the flow sheet and basic design parameters of the vibration plough with hydraulic vibrators. The conditions under which the vibration of the working bodies is the most effective have been determined. The impact of the velocity, angle, frequency and amplitude of vibration in the plowing component on the traction resistance has been studied. The modes of interaction process between the working bodies of the vibration plough and arable soils have been determined. Recommendations for designing the vibration plough with hydraulic vibrators which can reduce energy consumption during primary tillage and improve the quality of plowing have been put forward based on the research results.
