Essay

The thesis is devoted to the development of new molecularly-imprinted and water-soluble polymers based on native b-cyclodextrin and its functionalized derivatives. The purpose of study was to obtain new functional polymers with specific properties based on naturally occurring macrocycles and to study their properties. Key results were obtained with using IR-spectroscopy, UV-VIS-spectroscopy, differential scanning calorimetry, NMR, MALDI ToF, pyrolytic mass-spectroscopy, high-performance liquid chromatography, capillary gas chromatography. The regularities obtaining of new functional insoluble and water-soluble polymers based on b-cyclodextrin have been established and their suitability for using in analytical chemistry as sorbents and biphasic catalysis as promoters of mass transfer in accordance were demonstrated.
