Susidenko J. Competitiveness of Processing Enterprises in the System of Agroindustrial Complex under Market Conditions

Burning issues related to competitiveness of processing enterprises in the system of agroindustrial complex under market conditions are considered in the dissertation. Researched is the genesis of views on competition and competitiveness as well as historic states of their existence. Findings of investigating the state of the processing industry in the system of agroindustrial complex of Ukraine and Vinnytsia oblast in particular, made it possible to single out unfavourable trends in its development, which can be accounted for by the general economic condition of the country. The investigation revealed: a range of business forms, which proved to be unattractive for investments; irregularity of the management organisational structure as well as the lack of competent administrators able to operate under modern market conditions. Suggested are the ways of competitive recovery of enterprises in the processing industry under market conditions. A set of strategic measures as to improving competitiveness of enterprises in the processing industry of agroindustrial complex is worked out.
