Shcherbyna A. Stock exchange mechanism of financial instruments in Ukraine: development trends

The thesis is devoted to the scientific studies of theoretical and practical principles of stock exchange mechanism and modern trends in financial market. The essence and functions of stock exchange mechanism are considered. The classification of subjects in exchange trading is adapted to modern stock market trends. The role of financial innovations in stock market is given. The performance of stock exchanges in Ukraine is analyzed and synthetic trading volume is discovered. The effect of electronic trading on the development of individual investing in Ukraine is shown. The necessity of Ukrainian legislation improvement in matters of stock exchange market functioning is grounded. Gold futures and USD/UAH futures specifications are elaborated. The author proposes the implementation of capital raising market in Ukrainian stock exchanges based on the alternative market model.
