Essay

Dissertation is devoted to the complex researches of the modern state of the feeding base, the nature of food and trophic relationships of commercial carp of the Dnieper estuary in connection with the tendencies of their dynamics during the last decade. The data concerning the stocks and dynamics of catches confirming the degradation of populations of indigenous species are recieved, trophism which is based on the consumption of benthic organisms, and the growing number of alien fish, the food base of whom are planktonic organisms.
