The paper clarifies the nature of the suspect, accused's testimony, who admits his guilt, their legal nature, meaning and legal (criminal procedural) effects, which are in the application of negotiated (conventional) procedures and simplified procedure for criminal proceedings. A number of conclusions and proposals aimed at improving their existing legal regulation have been formulated on the basis of comparative law research on the application of conventional procedures and simplified procedure for criminal proceedings conducted by the author of criminal justice process on the basis of Plea agreement and conciliation agreement brief.
