The object is the phenomenon of justice as the complex public phenomenon in the philosophical concepts of I.O.Ilyin and B.O. Kistyakovsky. The aim is a comparative analysis of metaphysical grounds of justice in the philosophical concepts of I.O.Ilyin and B.O. Kistyakovsky. The methods are dialectical, comparative, hermeneutics, phenomenological. The comparative analysis of I.O. Ilyin's and B.O. Kistyakovsky's ideas about law and legal consciousness are accomplished. The basic characteristics of the categorical concepts of "law" and "legal consciousness" are determined. The main metaphysical prerequisites of law and justice in the ideas of I.O. Ilyin and B.O. Kistyakovsky are defined. A comparative analysis of metaphysical prerequisites is given. Spiritual prerequisites of law and justice in I.O. Ilyin's philosophy and their relationship with the religious and ethical consciousness defining legal consciousness as a complex phenomenon areinvestigated. The work specifies phenomenological characteristics of B.O. Kistyakovsky's ideas about "living law" on the basis of legal category and value orientation system as structural elements of legal consciousness of social relationship participants'. It underlines that orthodox character of I.O. Ilin's ideas not exclude legitimate enforcement. Application sphere is the training courses.
