Sopin A. Radio diagnostics of ionospheric disturbances stimulated by powerful tropospheric processes

The object of research is the spatial and temporal inhomogeneity of ionosphere. The goal is the development and improvement of radiophysical methods for remote sounding of ionospheric disturbances. Research methods are remote sensing of the ionosphere, statistical analysis. A technique for solving the problem of diagnostics of TID using data of GNSS-based TEC measurements has been developed. The diurnal dependences of the TID parameters over the Antarctic Peninsula have been determined. New evidences of impact of tropospheric processes on the ionosphere conditions have been obtained. The application area are the systems of global diagnostic of wavelike processes in the near-Earth plasma.
