The thesis is devoted to theoretical and methodological substantiation of principles and development of practical guidelines for the formation and functioning of the systems and mechanisms of regulation of long-term economic development of the agricultural sector. The concept of organizational- economic mechanism of state support to agricultural sector organizations by assessing the level of development of their resources, which is considered as a set of economic (including labor), financial, managerial and structural and organizational resources used in economic activity and can ensure its long-term sustainability.
