Tanaga V. The course of asthma in children and adolescents from different ecological regions and their rehabilitation.

Thesis is dedicated to improving the criteria for the diagnosis and rehabilitation of children and adolescents with asthma from different ecological regions. A total of 181 children and adolescents: one 131 patients with asthma and 50 healthy children and adolescents.The dissertation is a connection between the course of asthma in children, functional features of respiratory and cardio - vascular systems , psychological status and environmental conditions in the region. The children of ecologically unfavorable regions of the BA has an early and severe course, with it, therapeutic measures aimed at improving the respiratory system, leading to the normalization of the cardiovascular system, without additional therapy. Monitoring of therapy in children with asthma should be carried out not only using the spirogram, but also with the use of exercise test that can detect hidden bronchospasm. Children with asthma need long-term rehabilitation activities. However, carrying out conventional rehabilitation courses is not enough for the normalization of respiratory function . Therefore, at the stage of rehabilitation in a standard set of health - spa treatment should include breathing exercises with trainer «PARI PEP 2», a course of at least 10 procedures, and to repeat the courses 2-3 times a year, it will improve respiratory function, normalizes respiratory reaction to physical load and significantly improve the quality of life.
