Essay

The dissertation concerns the development of the stability design procedure of steel lattice supports of power transmission lines with one-bolted joints at a difficult stress state. There is analyzed the scientific and technical and normative literature review for the purpose of an estimation of existing stability design procedures of support structures of overhead power lines (OPL) and their components. The software unit "USL" for calculation of OPL tower supports based on the finite element method has been perfected. The numerical-analytical stability design procedure of steel lattice supports with one-bolted joints has been developed. There are given the laboratory research results of a stress-strain state of support fragments U110-2 in the test centre of building structures and products and results of full-scale tests of an OPL corner dead-end support 220 kV on the Tower Test Station of the DonNACEA. A design procedure and optimization algorithms of OPL supports taking into account received dependences for effective lengths and longitudinal bending coefficients have been improved. There is made the optimum designing of OPL tower supports 110 kV for Ukraine.
