Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the complex research of genre of violin transcription. As derivative genres are determined works built on the basis of stranger themes, i.e. different kinds of translations: transcriptions, periphrases, variations, fantasies and other compositions "on themes". They were being in an art during many centuries, beginning from medieval missa parodia, baroque works, from volume and versatile compendium of translations and transcriptions by F. Liszt, N. Paganini, F. Kreisler, S. Rachmaninov, L.Godowsky and other prominent composers and performers of Romantic Era - to the ХХ-th century.
