Thesis is dedicated to creating of the physical model of the high-current linear induction accelerator (LIA). For this purpose, the collective processes in LIA have been studied by method of numerical simulation. The possibility of transport and acceleration of the high-current ion beam (HIB) through three, four, six cusps is shown. It is shown that optimized in space, time injection of additional electron beams increases HIB monoenergeticity and decreases its radius at the exit of the accelerator. It is shown that in the high-current regime ion beam or accumulates energy at the end of the LIA and has a large spread in energy or gains energy evenly along the accelerator. It is found a range of the CIB densities, in which the ion beam is accelerated almost evenly along the length of LIA and is monochromatic at the exit of the accelerator. It is found that in an external magnetic field development of the beams' instabilities does not lead out the CIB parameters beyond the requirements, imposed to driver beam in the problem of inertial heavy ion fusion.
