Essay

The object is the thanatology presentation of thinkers of Kievan Rus period. The aim is an exposure of development process' specific of thanatology presentation in history of philosophical thought of Kievan Rus period. The methods are dialectical, comparative, hermeneutics, exegeses, system, existential, existential-psychoanalytical, phenomenological, valued approach. Presented by the formation thanatology views thinkers in the day of Kievan Rus by analyzing the mythological world of ancient Slavs, historical and philosophical study of the Bible as the source of the Christian understanding of the person's death. The basic existential human life, affecting the interpretation of the phenomena of human life and death, namely, fear, sin, despair, love and loneliness. Investigated the moral and ethical foundations of representations of the death of the ancient Slavs in Kievan Rus. Based on the pattern of holiness and wisdom highlights the philosophical ideas of thinkers about the phenomenon of death in Russia and its impact on the further development of Ukrainian thanatology issues in philosophy. Application sphere is the training courses.
