Essay

The thesis analyses neological units expressing linguo-axiological evaluation in the modern German language publicistic discourse. It gives evidence that axiological evaluation can be presented in the connotative meaning of a lexical unit semantic structure or actualized by the subjective utterance modality as well as textual modality and tonality. The work describes the external and internal factors in the Ger. lexical system updating and classifies the neological units according to a number of criteria. It is proved that 1) evaluative resources of the derivation form German neologisms inherent evaluation axiological potential and 2) German neologism adherent evaluation depends on the publicistic discourse contextual environment.
