Serbina N. Late traditional Ukrainian lyrics: ways of generation and stages of evolution

The thesis is devoted to the late traditional Ukrainian lirics, and is based on previously unpublished materials of field notes, accumulated by the author and her Kiev fellow ethnomusicologist in the Central Ukraine. Scientific novelty of the thesis is that it was the first in the Ukrainian ethnomusicology considered existing of traditional Ukrainian late lyrics on a wider historical and socio-cultural background. The author of the dissertation is derived concept later lyric tradition , defining its linguistic and poetic features and plot structure , identified mechanisms for the formation of the lyrics later , have established late lirical songs with several kinds of popular art , held ritmotipological analized songs later analyzed intonational features lyrics and genre classification proposed works late lyric traditions.
