Essay

The refined model of symmetric (unflexural) stress-strain state (SSS) and the method of research of SSS of transversely loaded multilayered plates on a rigid foundation are offered. The refined structural continual model takes into account the deformations of transverse shear and transverse compression in high iterative approximations. The cases of a rigid, perfect sliding and mixed contact of the plate over the foundation are considered. The analysis of results of calculation of a plate by variational-difference method under action of local loadings as well as the presence of continuous and bounded defects in layers and between layers of a plate and discrete changes of hardness of plate have been submitted.
