Lukyanenko S. Legal Regulation of Social Security for Officers of Law Enforcement Organs

Dissertation is devoted to research of social security for officers of law enforcement organs. Conducted research reveals peculiarities of social security for officers of law enforcement organs and elaborates notion of "social security for officers of law enforcement organs", its features and elements, considers issue of defining notion of "officer of law enforcement organ", analyses scientific approaches to understanding issues mentioned above. The work examines and reveals the meaning of principles of social security for officers of law enforcement organs, proposes their classification into general and specific. It defines peculiarities of pension security for officers of law enforcement organs and divides such security into general and specific. The dissertation analyses system of social guarantees established by the state to provide proper social security for officers of law enforcement organs and for the first time proposes definition of such system. It examines system of benefits established in legislature for officers of law enforcement organs. The work characterizes problems of legal regulation of social security for officers of law enforcement organs, perspective ways of resolution of existing problems and enhancement of legal regulation.
