Essay

Dissertation is devoted to the problems of diagnosis and surgical treatment of patients with coronary heart disease. The results of operations of the isolated CABG using arterial and venous conduits in 200 patients with ІHD, performed from 2002 to 2008 in the department of the cardio-vascular surgery of the Central Clinical Hospital in Baku , Azerbaijan . The criterias of clinical selection of conduits are include: assessing the general condition of the patient, histo-morphological characteristics of the conduit, coronary anatomy, relation of diameter conduit - arterial diameter and their anatomic proximity, function (resistant to blood pressure). It is shown that with CABG in patients ? 40 years of revascularization strategy should be focused on CABG using arterial grafts in order to maximize the full revascularization and ensure high safety by-pass graft patency for long periods of observation. Drawn up and put into practice the intra and postoperative antispasmatic protocol used in the application of arterial conduits . It is shown that the use of arterial grafts in acute coronary syndrome does not worsen during the postoperative period.
