The thesis aims to research the complex of the pragmatic, stylistic, and synergetic aspects of the German language parable. The parable typology is suggested from the standpoint of composition and style; pragmatics of the composition and style as well as stylistic features of the parable are given an explanation. The paper highlights the dialogue-epic types of the parable where dialogue prevails over the author’s speech, and epic-dialogue types where the author’s speech prevails over dialogue.
