Essay

In the dissertation on the material of the band The Doors are considered patterns of structural organization of rock compositions and compositional patterns of rock albums that have developed in the classical period of rock music (1965-1971). Found that a rock album in this period is treated as a whole, having a single dramatic musical line. Describes features harmonic thinking of band and methods of its use genre models of popular music 50s. Identified genre invocation which concentrates characteristics of psychedelic rock.
