Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the study of the encyclopedia of small genres in L. Beethoven's piano creative work as one of the basic parts of the composer's heritage, without which its holistic comprehension is impossible. The causes and consequences of piano small genres marginalization in Beethoven studies are established. Specific features of the author's interpretation of such small genres of Beethoven's piano creative work as preludes, minuets, ecossaises, polonaise, bagatelles, waltzes, are outlined.
