This thesis is devoted to the partes multivoice complex research as prominent phenomena of native music culture: from the origins, i.e. end of XVI century, to the end of XVII century. History of partes multivoice is divided into two periods, such as: “brotherly” and “Kyivan”. The work is divided into parts on a principle of confessional appurtenance of partes singing practice. The author researches partes singing in the Greek Catholic Church, Orthodox Church of Kyiv Metropolis and Orthodox Church of Moscow Patriarchate. The influence of Protestantism to the process of introduction of partes singing is separately researched.
