Essay

Object - intensity of lipid peroxidation and antioxidant activity of the immune systems of the organism and viability of piglets before and after weaning them from sows in terms of feeding the yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae Methods - clinical, biochemical, immunological, statistics.Novelty - It was studied the influence of additional feeding pigs at young age and during weaning Saccharomyces cerevisiae yeasts biomass in the content of mixed fodder on lipid peroxidation processes (LPO), glutathione antioxidant defense system activity, indices of cellular and humoral links of immune response. It was established that additional introduction of 1 and 2 % Saccharomyces cerevisiаe yeasts biomass into the standard mixed fodder of young age pigs stimulates the activity of glutathione antioxidant defense system, T- and B- cellular immunity and establishing of non-specific resistance of their organism. It is accompanied by increased bactericidal and lysozyme blood serum activity, blood neutrophils phagocyte activity, increase of leucocytes, lymphocytes, monocytes and erythrocytes amount in blood, increase of hemoglobin and crude protein concentration. This influence was stronger expressed in pigs which were given 2 % of Saccharomуces cerevisiаe yeasts biomass into the ration.
