Essay

A systematic study of the chamber ensemble heritage of A.Schoenberg, А.Berg and A.Webern as an integral spiritual and aesthetic component of European musical culture of the first half of the 20th century is carried carried out in this research. A comprehensive approach to the analysis of dynamics, articulation, authentic colour of sound, timbre-sonorous effects, phonism of harmonious vertical, acoustic characteristic of the texture is suggested.The essence of the string-bowed instrumentalism, as the sum of the techniques which are born by the artistic consciousness of a composer and psychophysical activity of a performer, is investigated. The individual features of the style of the New Viennese School's representatives in projection on the ensemble works with the participation of strings are typolized. A mechanism of the interdependence of timbre and compositional factors of the whole are investigated.
