The object of research is the process of innovation of agricultural enterprises. The aim of the thesis is to develop a theoretical and methodological principles and practical recommendations to improve the effectiveness of innovative development of plant growing on farms. The study used the following scientific methods: abstract logic, monographic, empirical, mathematical and statistical methods of data processing, mathematical economics. Scientific novelty of the research is to develop theoretical and methodological principles and practical recommendations to improve the effectiveness of innovative development of crop production in agricultural enterprises, including first proposed the optimal structure of productive resources necessary for the organization of innovative development of agricultural enterprises, which lies in the practical application of the optimization model based on a rational combination of technological, technical, biological, organizational and managerial areas of innovation and fundamental factors affecting the efficiency of crop production.
