Essay

The convergence of computational scheme of the method of generalized separation of variables for linear multidimensional integral equations is proven in the thesis. The sequence of solution approximations built according to the scheme of the method converges to the exact solution of the equation. The convergence is also proven for computational schemes of modification of the method of generalized separation of variables and a version of degenerate kernel method. The comparison of these methods and numerical results for model problems are given.
