Cordun V. Pitirim Sorokin's theory of revolution in historical and philosophical aspect.

The object is Pitirim Sorokin's social- philosophical theory of social revolution. The aims are to determine the philosophical component of Pitirim Sorokin's theory of revolution and to establish links his theory of revolution with Russian and Western philosophical theories of XIX-XX centuries. The methods are analysis and synthesis, historical, systematic, comparative. Dissertation is historical and philosophical research of Pitirim Sorokin's theory of revolution. Philosophical component of Pitirim Sorokin's theory of revolution which is the sum of scientic searching in Russian and American period of life and creative work has been distinguished in this work. It is proved that ideas of number of philosophical theories and doctrines of XIX - XX centuries (Freidism, Nitsche teaching, Russian religions philosophy, Positivism, Marxism. etc.) as synthesis of rational and irrational philosophy were reflected in this theory of Sorokin. Conclusion that theory of revolution approbation of Sorokin's integral philosophy has been made. Application sphere is the training courses.
