Essay

The object of investigation: bull-calves and heifers of domestic Simmental meat breed from in age from weaning till 18 months, different levels of raw fat in diet. Objectives: studying requirements of bull-calves and heifers for raw fat in winter and summer diet, balanced according to national standards of feeding. (2001). Methods: zootechnical, physiological, statistical, analytical. Scientific novelty: Optimal levels of raw fat in diet of bull-calves and heifers of domestic Simmental breed in age from till 18 months are experimentally substantiated for the first time. New data on using of food nutrients in diet of bull-calves and heifers by doping rape oil to this diet are obtained. It has been ascertained that the bull-calves' diet with the raw fat level of 4,0-44,2 and the heifers' diet accordingly 3,8-4,1 of dry substance provide the highest productiveness of animals due to better digestion and availability of organic and mineral matters and energy when using silo and haylage and grassy diet. Implementation level: received results and fully adopted in conditions of SOE SF "Chernivetske", district of Hertsaivska, region of Chernivtsi. Sphere of usage: agrarian farms, which breed meat cows.
