Essay

Dissertation is devoted to impressionism - one of the leading destinations in the style of piano music in China. Given that many Chinese musicians studied in France at the leading composers of this country, it is understandable impact on them of French Impressionism. The relevance of this study is determined by the absence of special works in China, considering striking manifestations of Impressionism in the piano works of Chinese composers. Scientific novelty of this work is to determine the Impressionist Chinese piano music as a distinctive national and artistic movement of the national culture.
