The object of research are the processes of economic evaluation and planning of expenses on export activities of machine-building enterprises. The aim of the thesis is the development of theoretical, methodological and applied principles of economic evaluation and planning of expenses on export activities of machine-building enterprises considering stages of involvement entity in a foreign market. The author has used techniques of analysis, synthesis, clustering, comparison and generalization, hypothetical method of questioning techniques, expertise and empirical studies, methods of dynamic, statistical and comparative analysis, factor analysis (principal components method), discriminant analysis, correlation and regression analysis methods, mathematical and statistical analysis, method of strategic planning (SWOT- analysis) and graphics. The theoretical value of the thesis is to clarify the essence of the concepts of "expenses on export activities" and "stages of involvement in a foreign market", justification of expenses on export activities and the date of such costs, depending on the stage of involvement in a foreign market, improving typology of expenses on export activities and the development of the semantic content and typology of factors shaping the expenses on export activities, depending on the stage of involvement in a foreign market. Scientific novelty of the results is the development of theoretical positions and practical recommendations on economic evaluation and planning of expenses on export activities of machine-building enterprises. The subject of the study is theoretical, methodological and applied principles of economic evaluation and planning of expenses on export activities of machine-building enterprises considering stages of involvement in a foreign market.
