Essay

The research object is processing of multi-temporal multispectral satellite images of slagheaps. The research goal is developing of geoinformation technology for slagheaps thermal state analysis on the basis of new models and methods for automated processing of multi-temporal data of multispectral satellite surveys. Methods of research - the methods of data mining and geoinformation data analysis, application programming, the pattern recognition theory, the field theory, the theory of fuzzy sets and fuzzy logic. The method of images texture classification is improved based on the created integral invariant characteristic providing improved accuracy of the classification results; the information model of slagheaps temperature field and the information model for calculating a quantitative indicator of slagheaps fire danger are proposed; the method of objective clustering is improved to identify stable basic spatial-temporal structures of slagheaps burning sites. The new geoinformation technology is created for automated processing of multi-temporal multispectral satellite images of areas with slagheaps to analyze the thermal state of slagheaps and their fire danger. The structure of automated system is developed for slagheaps thermal state analysis implementing the created geoinformation technology. The results of dissertation research are implemented in educational process of the State Higher Education Institution "National Mining University" and activity of scientific research organizations of Ukraine.
