The thesis is about actual genre and stylistic trends in contemporary piano performance and performing form as an open stylistic dimension in contemporary music. Based on works by B. Bart?k, V. Silvestrov, V. Runchak and K. Tsepkolenko, the thesis shows new genre and stylistic contexts of contemporary music, nonlinear ways of organizing composer's text (hypertext principle), the role of composer's performance marks and scenario development of the musical material.
