Marynych T. Currency policy in the system of financial stability ensurance

The dissertation is devoted to the substantiation of theoretical and practical issues of the currency policy mechanism implementation in terms of strengthening the financial instability in the country and the world. The scientific approaches to the currency policy periodization which include the analysis of economic conditions and priority objectives, tools systematization and economic impact assessment were improved. Based on the developed financial stability risk map the factors that pose the threat to the efficient functioning of the financial system of Ukraine were identified. A complex methodological approach to the currency policy effectiveness' evaluation was developed. It is substantiated by the econometrical research of the short-term and long-term relationships between exchange and monetary factors and financial stability indicators; estimation of the currency levers' use adequacy and currency crisis resistance ability. Practical recommendations for improving the effectiveness of the currency policy of the National bank of Ukraine were given.
