Alekseev S. Documents of the Provincial Authority of Archives, Libraries, and Museums as the source on the history of institutions of culture on the territory of Commissariat for Ukraine (1941–1945).

The thesis investigates the Provincial Authority of Archives, Libraries, and Museums of Reich Commissar of Ukraine as the source on the history of the activities of cultural institutions in the region. Stated purpose of creation, structure and key objectives PAALM, investigated a set of documents and found that the most relevant sources for studying the history of archives, library and museum institutions in RKU are the documents of Groups Archives, Groups Libraries and Groups Museums and documents of Regional Archive, Library and Museum of Kyiv. It was established that the complex of PAALM documents, describing his work in archival, library and museum areas, consist mainly of documents of relevant group and relevant regional institution. On the basis of problem-chronological definition developed authoring systematization of PAALM documents that is the source of the history of archival, library and museum institutions in RKU. According to this systematize investigated and characterized the major groups of documents on the history of archival, library and museum facilities, the main directions of activity of these institutions, and activities of the PAALM to identify, research and secure the safety of their funds.
